Life at Farm
Where Nature Nurtures Every Grain, and Tradition Guides Every Step.
At Krishi Amrit, farming isn’t just a profession — it’s a heritage woven into the soil of Kareli, Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh. Blessed with rich black cotton soil and the life-giving waters of the Narmada River, our lands are naturally fertile and ideal for growing wholesome, chemical-free crops. Here, generations of farmers have lived in quiet harmony with nature, nurturing food that is honest, healthy, and deeply connected to the earth.
A Day on the Farm
As dawn breaks over Narsinghpur, the first light spills across miles of lush sugarcane fields. The air fills with the scent of moist soil, the call of birds perched along neem and babul trees, and the gentle rustling of cane leaves dancing in the breeze.
Farmers step onto the land with devotion — inspecting crops, tending to the soil, and listening to what the earth needs that day. Bullock carts move steadily along narrow mud paths, children run past the fields laughing, and elders share stories under the shade of ancient trees.
Life here flows with nature’s rhythm — slow, soulful, and full of purpose.
Farming the Traditional Way
We follow age-old practices that respect both soil and season:
- No chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides — only natural manure, compost & cow dung-based nutrients
- Crop rotation & intercropping to nourish soil biodiversity
- Manual weeding, hand-harvesting & sun-drying, keeping every process natural
- Seasonal sowing aligned with rainfall, temperature & soil vitality
- Minimal mechanization, preserving the integrity of the land
These practices ensure that every sugarcane stalk grows with purity, mineral richness, and natural sweetness.
The Hands Behind Our Harvest
Krishi Amrit is powered by the warmth and wisdom of our farming community — men and women who have lived this craft for decades. Many of our farmers are second and third-generation cultivators, and strong rural women play a major role in sorting, drying, packaging, and jaggery preparation.
Every block of jaggery you taste carries the dedication, skill, and heart of these families.
You’ll find beauty in every corner — the morning dew on sugarcane, oxen ploughing at sunrise, women tying harvested bundles, and piles of fresh cane lined up for processing. These moments capture the true spirit of Krishi Amrit — rooted in simplicity and soaked in authenticity.
Farming with Purpose
Everything we do honors the land:
- We grow only in natural seasons, never forcing the soil
- We use sugarcane residue (bagasse) as fuel, reducing waste
- We allow fields to rest and regenerate, preserving long-term fertility
- We minimize water usage, thanks to the natural moisture-holding capacity of black soil
- We preserve heritage seeds and traditional cooking techniques
Give back more to the soil than we take.
From Our Fields to Your Kitchen
“To walk through our farm is to step into history, nature, and a promise — a promise to nurture food that heals.”
Every jaggery granule cube and block carries the essence of Chiksa’s soil, the purity of Narmada’s waters, and the love of the people who craft it.
From our farms to your home — this is the heart of Krishi Amrit.
